Warner, D. and K. Solomon. 1999 Project Earth Risk Identification Lifeline (PERIL), an interactive CD-ROM game to educate youth about risk perception and injury prevention. Centre for Toxicology, University of Guelph.
PERIL has been designed to entertain the game player while educating against the perceptual distortion of life's varied risks. Players must choose to participate in activities, often found inwork and play environments of 12-16 year olds, which have varied levels of risks associated with each activity. In addition to being provided with referenced risk data, the player will be provided with tips to promote a healthy and safe lifestyle.

A seven lesson study guide that provides information on basic principles utilized in the science of toxicology. Lesson supplements include: a list of research topics, a glossary of terminology, a toxicology-related crossword puzzle, a recommended reading list,and a teacher's lesson guide notes. This guide was designed to support secondary school science programs.
